Congratulations to Jack Shaw

Jack’s project, The Light Box, merges a light fixture with its packaging to create a waste-free product.

Thank you to all our 2010 Stipend finalists.

As Jack says, “The product’s construction of mostly post-consumer waste serves to take these humble materials out of the waste stream and give them new life as a design object.”

And, believe it or not, Jack’s suggested acquisition of a simple Post-It note (or “Memory Retention Device”) was not yet in our MoYO collection. We’re already on our way to pick one up!
